Do Not Stop Progress

I would like to take a second to talk about CHANGE.  Change is what develops our lives and our existence on this planet.  If you oppose change, you oppose progress.  Anyone who opposes progress will limit their chances at succeeding in this lifetime.  Take your business and think back when you first started.  How many changes have you made in order to succeed?  My guess is that you had to make many in order to be where you're at today.  

You may or may not have a great website or a great online marketing plan.  Some of you read my blogs because they offer guidance as you develop your online presence.  Always remember that the world is changing and you have to adapt your business to meet the needs of todays consumers.  Don't ignore new breakthroughs in communication and marketing.  If you are just now getting a twitter or facebook account, you are about 2 years late.  If you are just now getting a website built and you've been in business since 1990, SHAME ON YOU!  Your online marketing plan should be valued just as high as the the sign on top of your building.

Website and social media outlets are available 24 hours.  Make them visible, make them interesting, make them work!  If your competitors are kicking your butt, see what they're doing and CHANGE if necessary.  Don't stop progress, don't stop change, don't stop your business from succeeding.  If you don't have an internet marketing plan in place, you're always going to be behind the curve.  

So what do you need to do?

Educate.

Understand.

Accept.

Ask.

Implement.
